Model 12 question |Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

Hello all, just bought a model 12, apparently made in ’62. It’s the riot model, but I’m wondering why to the left of the cylinder choke marking, there’s a MOD that’s crossed out and what looks like another marking under CYL thats circled and says jKe or jKF. Any help would be appreciated.
