I was in the store yesterday, some mighty nice stuff. They had a fully tricked out 21 in .410 fully engraved gold inlays etc. etc. $50,000!
Could not find that one on their web site.

Nice! Was pretty excited until I saw it was a 28. Can’t do $10/box for ammo, lol. All kidding aside the prices for the standard guns seemed pretty reasonable. The Model 12 Trap in 20 seemed a bit odd, not many folks around here shoot trap with a 20. My shooting buddy loads & shoots 28’s but he’s partial to doubles. Lots of nice 21’s & 23’s.
I like this place! Think I’ll put them in my favorites. Thanks, Erin!

Reload, guys! Once you buy the gauge unique wads and have the hulls, it is cheaper to reload 28’s than it is 12’s!

Quite honestly I can reload shotgun shells but I choose not to. I find shotshell loading to be a mind-numbing chore but I enjoy loading for all my hyphenated and otherwise obscure cartridges. I also don’t want to dedicate the needed space for components. I generally give my spent shells to members who can use them because I hate to toss them. I’m normally a high-volume trap shooter and the $50-60/flat ammo serves my needs quite well. Several guys at the club reload but they have thousands invested in their equipment and they still buy factory loads for most big shoots. I can’t make those numbers work. When I was loading match (pistol) ammo it was because I could save quite a bit of money and my ammo was better than I could buy. If I were more of a skeet shooter I feel pretty certain a 28 would find it’s way into my collection and a loader would find it’s way to my bench.
