Hello, I’m interested in selling a shotgun I’ve owned for 51 years, since 1966, but I don’t know the value. Perhaps some of you Winchester experts could help?
It’s a 28 gauge Model 12 Skeet. The Cutts was on it in 1966 when I got the gun. I’ve used it lightly over the years. The occasional pheasant hunt, and similar upland game hunts.
I know it’s not as valuable as the same shotgun without the Cutts Compensator, but I’m not sure how to value this gun. Any help/advice is appreciated.
Regards, Guy
Use the search feature for completed auctions on sites like Gun Broker and see what similar Winchester 12 skeet guns have gotten. I haven’t done that but I am sure you’ll be happy with what you discover. Do you know for sure the Cutt’s is not original?
