Not sure how this fits in as far as grading, but I had a pair of 101 20 gauge Pigeon Grades. One was 28″ Modified / Full and the other was 26″ Improved Cylinder / Modified. They had the silver frames and gorgeous wood, and came with the luggage case to carry them in. I think I paid somewhere in the $750 price range. Bought them in the late 70’s or early 80’s. Nice shotguns. RRM
Thanks for that information.Near as I can understand, the Pigeon Grade was just below the Diamond Grade, but not 100 % sure of that.Been looking on line and it appears the Diamond Grade skeet guns came with a recoil pad.Even those Diamond Grade skeet guns in 28 gauge, that I have looked at on line had ,a recoil pad.
I have a Field Grade Model 101 in 28 gauge.No recoil pad.
