I’ve found a M12 Heavy Duck gun in high condition.  It has the checkered stock, but the fore end is the flat bottom grooved type.  Is this correct, or should it be checkered as well?

Thanks

I’ll have to get it the next time I see it.  I haven’t bought it yet, because I’m not sure it’s right.

An original Heavy duck butt stock should have a 13 1/2″ LOP with the red rubber Winchester pad. The butt stock should also have lead added to the stock, Via a hole drilled under the pad and filled with lead.
