Tournament Grade M12's|Winchester Shotguns|Forum|Winchester Collector

I have 2 Tournament Grade M12’s, early one Serial number 149597 later 338527 notices a slight difference between the 2 in regards markings on fore end action bar. #149597 has a prominent T on backside of action bar, somewhere I read it stands for tournament. #338527 lacks this mark, and has the letter W toward the end of the bar backside(section that rides insides loop cutout in the bolt. In Madis book he illustrates 2 markings for replacement parts WP or P. I am thinking the fore end metal may not be original, a Winchester mail order replacement part, your thoughts.
