I am wondering if any of the internal parts of the 10 gauge 1887 and 1901 shotguns would interchange aside from the redesigned bolt/lever assembly in these guns, especially extractors, springs and firing pin, etc.

The firing pins are different between the two models.

I do not if they are, or they are not interchangeable (which is why did not mention them).

I was made aware a few years ago that the firing pins are definitely not interchangeable.

The three on the top are Model 1887 firing pins, and the two on the bottom are Model 1901 pins.
