just picked up an original 1887 that was found in a barn for $50, right now it’s a cool wall hanger as it missing a few parts and looking for info on were to find parts for one, it’s got the main parts lever, hammer and loading mech missing some screws and springs along with extractors and feed tube internals

Andy,

For $50, it is a great wall hanger. Finding the parts you need is going to be very difficult, and you will need to find someone who is intimately familiar with working on the Model 1887. I personally would not spend the $$$ necessary to make it whole again in light of the fact that you most likely will never shoot it. The Model 1887 12-ga was made for a 2 5/8″ maximum length shell, and in black powder.
