Hunting in wet weather|Winchester Hunting, Shooting & Reloading|Forum|Winchester Collector

I’m looking at a mid 50’s Model 70 Featherweight that I really want to buy. How would I go about protecting it from the elements while hunting with it. It likes to rain a lot here in the PNW. In past I never really worried about it with other rifles and just oiled and wiped them down. Thanks.
