I have a savage bolt action 25/20 and was wondering if it could keep up or blow the doors off of the 17 WSM. I have been using it for plicking at close range with 5.5 grains of Unique and love it but i know have a Coyote problem and need to push the range out to 200yds plus or minus. Any thoughts on a load?

Start looking at loads using “lil Gun” powder.

Or you could just cut to the chase and get yourself a flat shooting varmint rifle…….. 220 Swift comes to mind Cool
