Looks pretty decent and for not too bad price.

OfflineYes, I saw that rifle this Morning. The price is pretty good if you wanted a shooter grade Super Grade. Claw mounts are not as popular as they once were. I still like them. One thing about those mounts with a Pecar scope. They always have the scope mounted to far back. Be careful when you shot a Magnum rifle with this feature. It is a good way to get scope eye! At this time I do not need another shooter grade .300 H&H Mag. Thirty years ago I would of most likely bought the rifle.

What in your opinion makes it “shooter grade”. Very few pictures. I see the scratches in the stock. Blue looks pretty much there, looks like correct front sight, but I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking.
I would not give that rifle high condition without more details, I have a very very nice 300 h&h… with a split stock. I would rate mine in the 90s as far as condition blueing finish, then the stock is split. a big hurt. I was told by someone on the phone several years ago that the magnums should have had a cross bolted stock then like they do now. However, just do not see lots of h&h mag supergrades is nifty. would be a good one to add to collection if there were no issues with it.
