winchester serial number

have a Winchester model 94 lever action model 44 mag. serial #3221158m and can find no information on it. can pull it up with 3221158 only. about 7 years ago it showed a value of $2000 dollars but nothing now

.trying to find paper work on it.

The “M” is technically not part of the serial number. Instead, it is a sub model identifier. The s/n 3221158 identifies it as a 1969 production gun.  What specific “paperwork” are you looking for?

Unless your Model 94 44 Mag is still NIB (New In Box), it is highly unlikely that it is worth $2,000.  I suggest that you search Gunbroker and Guns International to see what they are currently selling for.

I agree. I purchased my circa 1968-69 44 Mag (#3206719M) in 2018 for $650.  Insurance valued at $1000, today.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

The m was listed when I looked it up about 7 years ago on the Winchester web site.Gun has never been shot but no box.

If you looked it up 7-years ago, it was not truly the “Winchester” website.  Instead, it was most likely the Browning Arms Company “Winchester” division.  They do not have accurate information for any of the Winchester firearms manufactured from 1866 through 1980.

Your Model 94 Magnum has an approximate $1,000 value.
