Thanks again Bob!!!
You are right, you did give me that serial number, as well as the barrel date and right side stamp information. My memory is poor, and as I’ve said before I do not record owner’s identity on the survey spreadsheet. I just record “WACA” when information is provided by a WACA member about a rifle they own.
So S/N 69396 was there, but not your name.
Best,
Lou

Manual, That is neat that you number 40, out of the 54 that were Limited Editions, and signed by David. Sounds like you have two nice Model 54s. The .30 WCF is often seen for sale. Though pretty desirable. The 7 M/M is one that is hard to find to add to one’s collection.

Thank you Bo! I picked up the 30 wcf because I hadn’t seen that caliber in a bolt action rifle. I got the 7m/m from a WACA member. It is the the nicer one of the two. Both are pretty accurate.

Manual, Your right! Most of us find the Bolt Action Model 54 in .30 WCF unique. I think that a lot of Model 70 Collectors might use it as a substitute for the rare non-cataloged Model 70 in .30 WCF.
You are definitely right on the 30 WCF! the price difference is astronomical!
