I recently received a Winchester Model 1892 Cal 38, Serial Number 14291. I would like to know if anyone knows the manufacturing date of this gun.
I’m from Brazil, but the gun is American.

Your Model 1892 was manufactured in May of the year 1893.

Daniel you said that your from Brazil, do you know anything about the Carlos Rosetti Company,(Buenos Aires, Argentina) that had several Winchester model 1892’s imported there as speculation suggests.
I’m sure many of the members here would like to know. Rifles from him have been posted recently and in the past,

Good morning.
This information is interesting. The person who gave me this rifle told me that he bought it in Argentina, about 20 years ago. This must probably be its origin.

Thats interesting, I purchased one a couple of years ago with serial # 14557 and it showed being sold out of Wisconsin.
