Can a winchester model 1894 that letters as extra light have a 26 inch octagon barrel? Letter doesn’t mention barrel length

Full Octagon ELW barrels are relatively rare, and unlike the round or 1/2 octagon barrels, they do not have the distinctive front sight lug that is silver soldered (brazed) on the barrel.  Instead, a very shallow dovetail was milled into the barrel.

Pat; No one has mentioned it , 26″ was the standard length barrel for the 1894 and there fore would not be mentioned in the letter. Heres a close 26″ lite weight t.d. running mate  to Yours. Yours however is prettier.Smile20250623_134540.jpgImage Enlarger

So on a full octagon 26 inch extra lightweight 1894 barrel, what would the measurement be at the muzzle?

No expert here, but I believe on the 86’s they used a .005″ taper per inch of barrel. Where as standard was .002″ taper per inch. Possibly they used the same ratio on the 1894?
