Is the receiver and tang on early 1900’s 94’s the same on a SRC model and rifle model (with exception of ring)? Can you interchange butt stocks?

Yes, the butt stocks are interchangeable for the most part. However, keep in mind that Winchester’s craftsman individually hand fit each stock to a specific receiver frame. Swapping stocks between guns can often be detected due to the slight to moderate imperfections of the fit of the stock.
