Hello,

I just purchased a Win 70 Sporter 300 RUM.  It is 99/100% with only about 10 rounds down the barrel.  Original box included.  Wood looks real good.

I can’t find much on this particular rifle.  I know that many other calibers were manufactured around the same time and those rifles can be purchased for $800 or so depending on condition.  I paid $1200 for this one with a Leupold VX-3L 4.5X14X50 scope and a handful of ammo.

Anyone have information on the value?  Any idea of the number of rifles produced?

Thanks,

Lee

Lee,

Our primary focus on the Winchester Arms Collectors Association website is for the Pre-1964 production Winchesters. Your Model 70 is a relatively recent manufactured rifle, and as such, I am doubtful that any information exists about it. You might try contacting the Winchester division of the Browning Arms company, as might have some information about it.
