I picked up this 62A today. It dates to 1953.It shoots 22 short only. Not sure if these sights are a option or not original. Any feed back on the gun would be great.

Nice looking gun . The front looks like an Anschutz that takes aperture inserts , but it looks too small a diameter for the Standard Anschutz, so maybe a reduced copy for the 17a Lyman common inserts , or Parker Hale inserts ?
Looks like the front is a Lyman M17-A of the very early type. The rear is a Winchester 96-A and it is very doubtful these were factory installed. Big Larry
