I must say, the work done was of the quality that Bert didn’t pick-up on it years ago when he looked over the gun.

There is a good chance I didn’t mention it was chambered for the 25-20 repeater, so he just looked at mechanics and bore of the gun.

He did comment on the fine bore and made note that I was fortunate to find a 25 caliber with a great bore.

I always buy what I like, so if I get stuck with something at least I like the gun anyway.

Roger that is a great way to look at things. I am the same way. I usually buy it because I like it. I do not usually buy things for resale.
