Recently came across a Winchester 1894 rifle serial # 618602 30WCF caliber. with saddle ring -rifle, not a carbine. The barrel is marked nickel plated and is all silver as well as the receiver. We have been unable to identify this model and value. The production date seems to be 1912-13.

Has anyone seen this configuration?

Hello Joseph,

The S/N tells us that it was manufactured in September, 1913. In order to determine exactly what you have, clear pictures are needed. Please send pictures to me at – [email protected]

The pictures you sent show a standard Model 1894 SRC, with the bluing intentionally removed from the receiver frame.
