Hi Bert, I guess I will never stop collecting.  Still testing negative for my cancer and have sold most of my collection but still hang on to the real good ones.  At a recent gun show I purchased a 1894 with a 28 inch octagon barrel, set triggers, peep sights and a very loose two leaf rear sight.  The serial number is 137695.  It is in really good shape and has a good bore.  Thought you might want this for your survey.

Jerry,

It is good to hear that you are still clear of the big “C” !

The leaf sight is most likely a Winchester 3-leaf Express with the center leaf broken out.  You did not mention which cartridge it is (32-40 or 38-55)?
