Hi all, first time poster here so, I debated if this went into the repair section or not, so if it needs to be moved please let me know.
I am wondering what parts among the small caliber (25-20 or 32-20) 1892s are interchangeable? Are there are any parts that are not interchangeable beside the obvious one being the barrel?
I am in the process of building an 1892 from a stripped receiver and it would be helpful to know if I can use parts from the 25-20 or not.
I intend on making this into a 32-20.
I attempted to contact homestead parts but have not heard back yet, hence my post here. Appreciate any insight.
The parts for a 25-20 are the same as for a 32-20. The large caliber cartridge guides, carrier, lever, bolt, ejector, magazine, forearm wood, are not. The hammer, lower tang/trigger, mainspring, buttstock/buttplate, loading gate, locking bolts, and most of the pins and screws are the same for all calibers the best I recall.

Awesome I appreciate the reply! I found a donor rifle in 25-20 so being able to use those parts is a great opportunity.
