OfflineI looked at an 1892 the other day. It was in the 500,000 serial number range. The serial number was odd in that the last 3 digits aligned but the first 3 were slightly out of line. They were proper Winchester looking numbers but they appeared as if they might have been applied one at a time. Is there anything that can explain this other than someone messing with the original number?

OfflineOn the 73’s I haven’t seen bad vertical misalignment’s but lateral alignment issues. Can you post a picture.
