winchester 1892 model, made in 1914, round barrel 22.5''|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

Hi,

Reading the comments posted on this forum were helpful but I still have some questions.

Can somebody please tell me where exactly winchester used to stamp this type of gun. For instance proof mark on the top of the barrel, near receiver.  Where else we have to look to check the proof marks and the serial# before buying an old gun like this.
