hello, I have an 1885 in 38-56. It’s a 20″ round #3 barrel. There are no sights. Front has open dovetail and rear dovetail is plugged. Lookes like there was a tang rear site at one time but removed. The the blueing is less than 50%. I’m torn weather I should put it on the market as is or add some sights and restoring the finish.
Any suggestions, opinions or thoughts are much appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

What would you do with it if you kept it? I don’t have much use for rear sights these days, most are in carefully labelled bags in my parts box. Interesting cartridge.
