Need help identifying this old rifle.  Never seen a lever like this…..

That is not a factory original Single Shot lever. Additionally, the lower tang has been redically bent (or is not a factory original piece).  Does it have a serial number on the tang?

Has been modified for Schuetzen comp by bending lower tang & fitting custom lever–one of many diff designs in use during that period.  Unusual to have only a plain trigger, as DS triggers were the norm.  Lyman 103 in rather sad cond.  Factory brl or custom?

It looks like it was in a fire.  I would be leery about restoring that rifle to anything stouter than a 22 rim fire.
