OfflineI purchased a 1932 92’ Trapper while back and have the original paperwork for the rifle from 1932.
I was told it’s on the AFT’s SBR list. The seller stated it is 100% legal to own and have in my possession when I purchased (1.5 years ago)
Is there a way to verify that the serial number is on the list? Is there an approved Winchester SBR serial number list available to the public?
Would like to verify I’m not missing something that I need to know here.
The paperwork I have shows it was registered with the office of Collector Revenue Office of the Treasury Department and it’s. Form 1. Stamped like Aug of 34’.
I believe this old paperwork to be my evidence it was added to the SBR list back in that year?
If/when I decide to exit the rifle someday will I need to have newer evidence or will this form 1 be sufficient?
Thanks and Appreciate any input!

OfflineJason,
I suggest that you simply go to the ATF website and look it up… Curios or Relics April 2025 (atf.gov)
Scroll down to page 46, and then use the “Ctrl F” function and type the in the serial number on your Model 92 to reduce your search time.
