Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your time in advance. I was wandering if anyone could give me an estimated value for the firearm listed above S#565 The firearm is in fiar condition with only light surface discoloration and only a few minor nicks in the action and barrel. The stock is in a little rougher condition, but not too bad. Any input is appreciated.

I would need a lot more information to determine value. Pictures go a long way in doing so. Fair condition can mean different things to different people and you didn’t say its configuration  which had a big influence in value. I’m guessing the S#565 is the serial number. If that is the serial number then it has a raised thumb print dust cover and the reverse rear sight if its a rifle. They also made carbines and muskets.
