Need to know what to look for in what at firstsight is a gun gith origional patina and flawless mechanical order. Gell me about this gun.

Hello Dcon,
Well for starters, the Model 1890 was made with an octagon (8-sided) barrel versus a hexagon (6-sided) barrel.
The next piece of information needed is the serial number. Is the rifle a First, Second, or Third model? If it is a Second model, is it an early specimen that is case color finished?
Clear detailed pictures of the rifle would be of great benefit.
