anywho, back to main question, Who (what country) would stamp 450-2000, in place of barrel marking, next to the receiver marking (top of barrel)
Serial number 144775A
No idea. What was the original caliber? What is stamped on the underside of the barrel? Until you can post pictures, we are in the dark.

Offlinesorry for adding a different gun to post, earlier,
the 450-2000, stamped, where the WP was on barrel, is my main concern , on the 1886m lightweight ser# 144775A
“underside” of barrel ?? Ive never removed, or know how to remove the barrel,
I could learn, if needed, if there is a caliber /marking underneath,

Is the rifle in question a Take Down, or a Solid Frame? Regardless, you only need to remove the magazine tube and forend stock to see the factory markings (and caliber marking) on the underside of the barrel.
You say “lightweight” but Winchester never actually manufactured a “lightweight” Model 1886. It is either an “Extra Light Weight” (22-inch barrel), or it is a standard rifle. What is the barrel length?
