OfflineWinchester did not use Nickel Steel for the Model 1892 (92) barrels unless somebody specifically ordered the gun to shoot the W.H.V. cartridges. Proof Steel (CMS) barrels did not exist until early 1932. The barrel in your pictures is the standard “high strength” steel that Winchester used for all of the Model 1892 (92) cartridges and the 32-40 & 38-55 Model 1894 (94) cartridges.

Any factory loaded (original) ammo is perfectly safe to shoot in your Model 1892.
