I expect the Cody Show coming up in a few weeks is probably the best or one of the best shows to find and purchase original and high condition Winchesters?

What are some other shows you prefer based on the quality of Winchesters and pricing? I’ve heard the Las Vegas Gun Show being mentioned?

I plan to start attending some shows the later part of this year and next, so your opinions as to where I should focus would be very helpful.

I would like to attend next month’s Cody Show but just can’t get away right now. Will definitely make it a high priority for next year.

 Kevin:

The winter Las Vegas show used to be top-drawer but I went last year after missing it for quite a few year and was very disappointed.  I’ll not go back!

On the other hand, the Denver show put on by the Colorado Gun Collectors Association in mid-May is and has always been a first rate show and excellent place to find Winchesters of all sorts.  Cody and Denver get my votes.  I also attend the Big Show in Reno each December when the Winchester Arms Collectors Assn. holds their fall meeting.  A more diverse show with a mix of modern and collector arms but still lots of good Winchesters to choose from.

I haven’t attended the Sioux Falls show held in mid-February but every club member that attended speaks vary highly of it also.

Just my 2 cents for what it’s worth…………

Kevin,

The Denver show in May, the Big Reno show in November, and either of the Tulsa shows are all good places to find quality Winchesters.

I haven’t been in several years, but the Baltimore show the third weekend of March was always pretty good.

Thanks guys for the info. Looks like Cody, Denver and Reno are the ones!

I may even try the Baltimore Show since it’s only about a 2.5 hour drive for me. Hope to see some of you on the Show Trail next yearSmile

After going to the Reno show I haven’t gone to any in Oregon . They’re all terrible in comparison. I am going to give the big shoe in Portland a go this year, never been. Son lives there now so got a place to stay.
