I have a Model 53 in 25-20 takedown, Ser#3649. The rifle is in decent shape. There is a light burn mark on the bottom of the stock about 6″ long, could be sanded out and refinished. I am interested in year of manufacture and approx. value.

Your Model 53 Rifle was manufactured in June, 1925.  It would help to see some clear detailed pictures of the rifle before attempting to assess the approximate value.
