I think I like the box better than the gun, but I, too, would have loved to have one at an age up to about 8 or 9, because by that time I had a “real” gun, though it only shot BBs.
Is it remotely conceivable that it could bring anywhere near this much? I’d say “impossible,” if I wasn’t aware of the “impossible” prices being realized by RIA & others.

It looks like the casings are actual brass.
I’ve never seen this before. I would have loved to had it when I was pre-BB gun age. It would have been an amazing Christmas present. I wonder how many are still surviving – with the box, bandolier, bullets etc. Quite the set.
