Hello all!

I have had 2 spruce guns in my collecting life and i was looking thru my lever rifles and pulled out one that is a carbine with serial of 912xxx which I know is a bit over the serial range.  It has the same flip up long range sights which to me seems strange on a carbine and the Spruce carbines had these long range flip up sights as well i believe.

I have a couple Canfields books but not the WW1 US Firearms version so i was hoping someone out in WACA land had this book or other reference materials that would talk about these type of sights and if they were special order or ???  I understand this isnt a Spruce rifle but the sights and gum wood makes it the same without markings and serial range.

Thanks for any help in advance!
