Biggest issue I have with slam firing is that I cast, size, lube and load every 38WCF and 32WCF bullet I fire. I’m not a particularly fast loader as I only have a four-cavity mould and load them on a single stage press. That, and I don’t have a Colt Lightning.
I guess this capability is an early example of suppressive fire; you’re not going to hit much but whoever you’re shooting at will likely keep their heads down!
