Burt, The old “woulda, coulda, shoulda” story! Had I known in the 1970s what I know (or think I know) now, I would have taken out a loan and purchased a number of Winchester rifles and carbines that I could not afford back then when they were priced in the low to mid hundreds! But…..Tim

Burt – at least you bought one out of that ad! And not one of the less expensive rifles either. For me, I would have been very very drawn to that .25-35 pistol grip SRC. PAINFUL TO LOOK AT THESE OLD ADS!

That .30 WCF pistol grip deluxe SRC with stainless barrel is a rare one too. Not only is the configuration rare, but add in the stainless barrel… and add in, “99% black paint”! how often do you see that?
