Because it is classified as an NFA (National Firearms Act) firearm, it needs to be listed in Section IIIA on the BATF website, or you need to have a BATF exemption letter from the Technical Branch to buy, sell, or transfer it. Several years ago I combed through the entire section IIIA listing and created a separate listing for the Model 1894/94. If you can provide the serial number for the Model 94 in question, I can check it for you.
