The description says this rifle “may have been reblued/refinished.”  To me it looks like it has a very nice original finish.  Just the take-down ring flaked–very common during this timeframe.  What do the experts think?

I would agree that it is original and pretty darn nice.  The wood fit is perfect.

It was original finish, I live 20 miles from the store and the rifle is now resting comfortably in the safe.

Todd, did you get it for $2599.77 or less?  I agree, it does not look to be refinished, but seemed high at $3,500 and maybe low at $2,600.

 

Why was the price lowered???  If not refinished, and clearly this one is not, there should not be a need to drop the price this much.
