I just came into possession of the following Winchesters:
Model 1892 .38WCF Ser.#8339 (1893)
Model 1903 .22 Ser.#29385. (1906)
Model 1890. .22 long. Ser.#337978 (1907)
Model 62A .22 short. Ser.#232797 (1948)
(This one is still in original box)
I’m considering sale and/or possible trade for a double rifle.
Does anyone have any interest or suggestions?
That’s a good point, Eagle, and since he acknowledged both responses with one having to do with posting pics in the swap section I’ll wait and see.
Anyone else having a high condition Model 1890 that they are willing to sell can send me a PM. One that letters would be ideal, most especially if it has some special features.

Instead of wasting his time with folks who mistrust him, he’d be better off buying a table at a good gun show (admittedly, they’re increasingly hard to find), where such desirable guns should all sell easily IF reasonably priced. “Reasonably priced” does not mean Gun Broker sucker-priced; deduct 15-20% from average GB prices to arrive at a price that will move them off the table.
I don’t have a problem discounting a price from my GB price since it gets more expensive all the time to sell there. Listing fees, selling fees, fees from the folks that want to manage the money end of the sale, and let’s not overlook the ever increasing price of shipping. Especially if you do it like me and ship in a hard case to prevent damage.
Shoot low boys. They're riding Shetland Ponies.
