Someone on a FB group has this 1894 carbine in 30WCF s/n 1052304 with the number 11 hand stamped below that. Anyone know who first owned it? Figured there’s a chance its sister guns have popped up somewhere and someone here might know.

JB,
It is very unlikely that it will be possible to track down (research) who the original owner was, or who the person was that hand stamped the “11” on it. I have several serial numbers recorded in my research survey that are very close to it, but not even close to being the same.
