Question on a Mod 70 Featherweight|Winchester Rifles|Forum|Winchester Collector

Is there supposed to be a small hole in the receiver on the right side of the rifle? It’s in the support bracket in front of the bolt and the hole is about 1/8″ and perfectly round, just above the wood. It’s a .243 cal rifle and it’s in nice shape. I don’t (obviously) know much about them.
