Question on a 1886 barrel

The same friend who has the 1873 22, has a 1886 with qestionable barrel,it has a stamping 1885 on the left side at the forarm.

The 1886’s s/n 58898,not sure the barrel is original.

Looks like “1985” to me on the side of the barrel. Have you checked the markings on the bottom of the barrel? Are any other markings visible?
