Hi fellas,

I was going through some of my collection to document my Winchesters. I have a prewar (1940) model 94 carbine with the original box.The box does show age etc. The carbine looks like it’s never been used and in pristine condition with the original cardboard spacers etc. still in the box. I know the 94 is the most prolific of all the Winchesters but I’m thinking a mint prewar in the box would command a higher price than a very high condition prewar Model 94 w/o the box. Anybody ever see a selling price for a carbine like I have with the original box?  I have a few more that I forgot I had. I have been looking for and collecting Winchesters since the late 1950’s and gave up about 15 years ago due to crazy pricing etc.

Thanks, Len

I don’t know what it would bring, but if you ever put it up for auction, like on GunBroker, please let me know.  I don’t recall seeing one with it box from that era, but I might have.

It wasn’t a pre war, but a 1950 model sold with box for 1700.00 earlier this month on GB.

Holy Moly Batman. At Reno a couple years ago, I bought a drippy mint, unfired, 1960, 30 WCF, M94 carbine for $750. The box must be made of gold or platinum. Big LarrySurprisedSurprisedSurprised

I’ve sold a few pre-war carbines [98%] in the last 3 months for $1000 a piece. My guess to you is $1500-$1800
