Howdy,  I’ve got a 1939 30 govt ought 6 carbine I’m trying to get an idea for value. I’m debating whether or not to sell it outright or auction it.  I’m hearing/ seeing a broad range of values and I’m just curious if I could maybe trim it down here.  @85% all original, rear bridge intact wearing a lyman WJS48 (Sight with scallop, stock intact. )  Also has factory rear sight, FS hood.  moderate bluing wear on barrel as if it was carried over the shoulder.  bolt knob has wear.  recvr andfloor plate look great.  i’ll try and post pix later.

GoWyo, Probably get what you need by checking Gun Broker completed auctions for that model and comparing what sold to yours. Luck, Peter

I let one go last year that sounds a lot like yours for 2,400.00, and wish I had it back…..
