Where would one find the 4 screws that go on top of the action on a pre 64 model 70 supergrade

If you are referring to the four threaded holes used in attaching scope bases, then you are looking for four 6-48 screws (or filler screws depending on what you are trying to accomplish.) They are available at Brownells.

Assuming you are looking for the (4) plug screws, as BRP said any 6-48 plug screw will work. If you have a need to be completely accurate, Winchester’s plug screws on the pre-64 M70 were slightly “domed” on top (not flat), and not the “stop” type in which the top is slightly flanged such that it cannot be turned in below flush. The latter are easy to find and look more like Winchester’s own screws than the flat ones do.
