OfflineThe ARMAX survey did not include the number of plain pistol gripped Model 1894s. My research survey for serial numbers 354000 – 1079689 indicates that they are not rare, or even all that uncommon. Of the (453) pistol gripped Model 1894s that I have documented thus far, (108) of them are plain wood & no checkering.
