Picked up another on the weekend. A 3rd model Winchester 1873 in 44-40. Has a button mag, 24 inch round barrel and crescent but plate with trap door. Original sites and dust cover. Made in 1888.

Enjoy your 1873! That configuration is quite common down here in Australia. Bob (1873 man) would be happy to add it to his 1873 survey if you can provide the serial number to him. Hopefully it’s a good shooter for you.
