not sure how common a 20 inch octagon barreled 94 is buy I thought it was pretty cool

Thats not a carbine, its a short barrel rifle. The ARMAX article shows 2980 20″ rifles. I assume that number is both round and octagon rifles.

The serial number is too high for a Cody letter. Forearm length looks about right but I don’t like the difference in wood color and finish.

If thats a 20″ barrel I measure the forearm at about 8 1/2″

I have a very similar rifle albeit somewhat older. Like the one under discussion it hasn’t led an easy life. Anyone know the price?
