I get a kick out of this stuff. Today, I received my M64 that I had bought off Guns International. True 98%++, looks to be virtually unfired, but I am sure it has been.# 1117360, a .30 W.C.F., in the PR 11-02-36, has all the early features. I just waxed it and it is a thing of beauty. No. I am not going to shoot it. Just thought a picture would be appropriate. Big Larry

Nice, Pre-War Model 64 ya got there,
The Picture taking is nice also, but,,

Thanks hokie. This is a picture from Guns International. I haven’t got around to taking any myself. Yeah, it’s a nice one. Thanks all. Big Larry

Larry,
Here’s the little brother carbine to your full length 64. I just got this one a few months ago…….. s/n 1136368, a 1937 gun. Its sports a Lyman 1A peep and #6 folding leaf in the rear slot. I see no indication it ever had a standard sporting rear sight so it may have been ordered with the peep/leaf combo. Its truly a minty gun as well and I usually refrain from using that term.

Wow, a little Brother. Sure wish there was a way to ID factory ordered sights. This may always remain a mystery. Beautiful carbine. I am mostly a M1894 collector, but I wanted to include a M55 and M64. I have them both now, so the search is over. Thanks, Big Larry

Thanks Larry. I’ve had quite a few 64’s in a short amount if time but I think this one is the keeper 64 example for my collection. It fits in nice with a group of 1894 short rifles I have.
Keep posting your rifle and carbine pictures, I sure enjoy seeing what everyone else is picking up.
